I get this question often, “Chase, there is a used CBH Home that is a couple of years old and is the same exact floor plan and it even has rear landscaping already for a couple of thousand less then your brand new one. Why would I even consider the new one?”.

The answer is that there are many things to consider when you are looking at a brand new CBH Home vs. a used CBH Home or even a foreclosure home. In my first video log (is that a VLOG? Maybe someone could help me out with that), I talk about the recent changes in a high performance CBH Home that directly effect energy efficiency and how that correlates to your overall monthly payment.

You wouldn’t buy a car without considering the fact that you have to fill it up with gas, right? You not only consider the monthly payment of the car itself but also the amount of money per month that you are going to spend on gas to use it? The same holds true for a home! Remember there are many things to consider when purchasing a home and this video focuses specifically on energy efficiency!
